About me and this site
I am a professional software developer of [insert growing number of years here] years. I have worked with databases and database front ends for 4 years, before I joined the games industry in 2001. I never looked back. Fairly recently, Agile programming and planning have bodyslammed me into a new way of working, problem solving and thinking. I am especially fond of Test Driven Development and became a rather uncompromising practioner of it.
In this blog I talk about programming practices, especially related to agile methods. I will go down to a fairly low and pragmatic level at times, but you will also find thoughts and advice on general productivity and organizational principles as they relate to my daily work as a programmer.
As of May 11th, 2006 my former employer has been closed by their owners, and thus I have become an independent Software Craftsman, open for business of any kind as long as it is concerned with the production of high quality software.
